Doping control
Ten players passed a UEFA doping spot check: Mascherano, Bartra, Dos Santos, Pinto, Alexis, Adriano, Sergio, Puyol, Pedro and Alves. The last time a similar test was conducted was on February 15.
Adriano Correia and Pedro RodrÃguezare making good progress and on Friday morning were both seen to be working with the squad in the training session at the Ciutat Esportiva. The fullback pulled his hamstring on March 17, while a small torn fibre was spotted in the striker’s left calf on the 17th of last month.
Meanwhile, Javier Mascherano, Leo Messi and Carles Puyol did recovery and physiotherapy work. The remainder of the team, including Adriano and Pedro (who has just become a father), prepared for the game with Mallorca on Saturday. They were also joined by Oier and Deulofeu from the B team.
The players rested on Thursday and as usual when there are home games at the Camp Nou, will also have a training session on the morning of the match.
